Job Description

A full or part-time position with flexible hours the Lone Star Kartpark Mechanic is responsible for the service and upkeep of our state of the art high speed gas go karts. All positions are responsible for assisting guest in various areas, in many capacities and following Lone Star Kartparks standards of quality.

• Perform kart repairs and regular performance maintenance checks.
• Maintain proper kart appearance and functionality.
• Handle emergency situations as directed.
• Conscientiously maintain, repair and clean karts.
• Ensure tools are used properly and stored as needed in locked cabinets.
• Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
• Assist with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
• Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Lone Star Kartpark policies and procedures.
• Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
• Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
• Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Lone Star Kartpark.
• Display excellent communication skills.
• Show eagerness to learn new skills.
